457th      SUB DEPOT

It was originally formed as the 64th Squadron of the 49th Service Group. 
They went to Walla Walla, Washington to join the 95th Bomb Group. 
Then those groups went overseas on or about December 1943. 
At Horham, the group was renamed the 457th Sub Depot.
They were in charge of the 2 hangers, and all the major repair shops,
like sheetmetal, instrument, parachute, etc. They performed all the major
battle damage repair on the 95th BG aircraft.
