It lists information about every B-17 that was produced.  There is information in the very beginning about the development of the plane as well as infomation about the types of engines used and the changes to the aircraft that were made as it was improved.  Then, it lists each B-17 by serial number and gives the know information about that particular aircraft...when it was delivered and where it was sent, which bomb group(s) it was assigned to, the fuselage codes and whether or not it went down.
